Lasmid, born and named as Lasmid Nathaniel Owusu is a Ghanaian singed, rapper and composer who hails from the Western Region of Ghana, Takoradi to be specific.

He soared to popularity after releasing a remix of his hit dubbed “Sika” which included Ghanaian musician Kuami Eugene. He was the winner of the 8th season of MTN Hitmaker, held in 2019, and is currently signed to Highly Spiritual Music.

Lasmid wins MTN Hitmaker season 8 with GH¢120,000 recording contract deal and a black Anibisa headset – December 14, 2019 (MTN Pulse) . Following the competition, he was signed unto Ghanaian musical producer, Kaywa on his record label, Highly Spiritual Music.

In 2022, he dropped a remix of his hit titled Sika featuring Ghanaian afrobeat singer, Kuami Eugene. His remix went viral on tiktok and topped charts in Ghana which got him recognition.
