Nana Otedola has opened up on the reason behind her worry when she first learned about her daughter, Temi Otedola’s pregnancy with singer and entrepreneur Mr Eazi.

In a chat with Temi and her husband Nana said her main worry was Mr Eazi’s job in the entertainment sector which often takes him away.

She also said she was astonished that the couple opted to start a family so soon after getting married, expecting them to enjoy a longer honeymoon period.

“When you got pregnant, I was scared because Tosin works in the entertainment industry and is always on the road,” Nana stated. I was a single parent for most of my children’s parenting years and didn’t want my daughter to have to go through that, so I said: ‘Let’s do it. I was apprehensive about her being left on her own with the baby at home.

She also said she was surprised at the timing of the pregnancy, adding, “I was shocked you guys were having a baby so soon. I imagined you would be in the honeymoon phase for around three years. ‘But she said to me, ‘Mum, we’ve been together for five years… we’ve done all that already.
