Camidoh full name Raphael Camidoh Kofi Attachie (born 21st day of January 1994) is a Ghanaian Afropop/R&B singer, songwriter, rapper and record producer.
He was born at Aflao in the Volta Region of Ghana and was reared by a single mother at Ho the capital of Volta Region, Ghana.
He holds a BSc in Marketing from the University of Professional Studies in Accra, Ghana. At the age of 14, he acquired a love and enthusiasm for music, taking inspiration from Senegalese-American musician Akon and Chris Brown.
He is signed under a Ghanaian indie record label called GRIND DONT STOP CO. LTD. and received his big break into the Ghanaian music scene after the release of his tune For My Lover produced by himself. Since then, he has been tireless in the art of crafting wonderful music. He has played on major platforms such Citi Fm’s Decemba2Rememba, Rapahohic by Sarkodie amongst others in Ghana.
He embarked on a successful UK tour in March 2020 which landed him yet to release a collaboration with UK based Ghanaian musician and producer Juls, and other top UK acts.
His first song was released over 5 songs and collaborations with some of the big names in the Ghanaian music business such as KelvynBoy, Medikal, Darkovibes, Sefa etc.
He also released an EP titled C.P that has big productions by Ghanaian American-based producer Nektunez.
Career
In 2018, Grind Don’t Stop Records signed Camidoh. Camidoh also released his first single For My Lover with Darkovibes in the same year. He followed up with The Best starring Kelvyn Boy and Available featuring Eugy. In 2021, he released a track Dance With You with BET award nominee Kwesi Arthur. He released a six–track EP, Contingency Plan (C.P.), in 2020.
Camidoh performed at the Entertainment Achievement Awards presented by Citi TV in March 2021. His EP, Contingency Plan (C.P.) garnered him a nomination for Album of the Year. Following his performance, he was given an admiration by IMANI Chief Executive Officer, Franklin Cudjoe who gave him $500.
His single released in December 2021, Sugarcane, brought him into the limelight between 2021 and 2022. The song started trending more after the Ghanaian TikTok video producers community utilized the music in their videos which served as a promotion of the song online. Shazam’s Top 200 Most Searched Afropop Songs ranked the song at No. 5. On 8 April 2022, he released a remix of the song with King Promise, Nigerian musician Mayorkun and British rapper Darkoo. The collaboration reached Number 1 on Nigeria’s Top 100 Music Chart on Apple Music in the first week of May, less than a month after its release.

Prior to his music career, Camidoh stumbled across music by Senegalese-American singer Akon on music streaming platform YouTube while in an internet cafe with his cousin. He got inspired to go into music and because of that he cites Akon as his music inspiration and
