Nana Richard Abiona, known professionally as Fuse ODG, is an English-Ghanaian singer, songwriter and rapper. He was born on 2 December 1988.He is well known for his participation on Major Lazer’s “Light It Up (Remix)” and his tunes “Antenna” and “Dangerous Love”.
EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
Fuse moved back to London after growing up in Ghana to complete his secondary education at Archbishop Lanfranc School, Croydon. He was raised in Mitcham, South London. His stage name “Fuse” is a nod to the fusion of sounds and he is noted for blending together unexpected musical genres such Afro-pop, hip-hop, R&B, funk and rock. On the other hand, “ODG” means “Off Da Ground.”
CAREER
On August 23, 2012, Fuse ODG released a tune named “Antenna”. It reached number 7 on the UK Singles Chart and number 85 on the Irish Singles Chart. On 27 October 2011, he released the single “Azonto”, which peaked at number 30 on the UK Singles Chart. He was honored with the “Best African Act” at MOBO Award’s 18th Anniversary on October 19, 2013.
All five songs from his debut album, T.I.N.A. (an acronym for “This Is New Africa”), were released on November 3, 2014 and peaked at number 25 on the UK Albums Chart and number 63 in Scotland. Fuse

The song was released on 17 July 2015.On September 4, 2015, he released the single “Top of My Charts”.He collaborated with Indian rapper Badshah and British Asian singer Zack Knight in 2016. Together they made the soundtrack for the African-Indian film Bombae.
