Lasmid born and named as Lasmid Nathaniel Owusu better known in the music industry as Lasmid is a Ghanaian singed, rapper and composer who hails from the Western Region of Ghana, Takoradi to be precise.

He shot to stardom after dropping a remix of his hit “Sika” with Ghanaian musician Kuami Eugene. He is the winner of MTN Hitmaker season 8 that happened in 2019 and he is currently signed to Highly Spiritual Music.

Lasmid has dropped a single, “Friday Night,” which has been all over the airwaves and doing really well on streaming platforms.

Lasmid was winner of MTN Hitmaker season 8 on December 14, 2019, with a GH¢120,000 recording contract deal and a black Anibisa headset supplied by MTN Pulse. The battle saw him being signed onto Ghanaian musical producer, Kaywa’s record label, Highly Spiritual Music.

He released a remix of his hit Sika featuring Ghanaian afrobeat musician Kuami Eugene in 2022. He earned recognition in Ghana when his remix went viral on tiktok and topped the charts.
