Career

AIK signed Yohanna on June 29, 2025, with a contract that lasts until December 31, 2029. Yohanna started his career at AIK with the under-19 team, netting four goals in three P19 Allsvenskan matches.

It didn’t take long for head coach Mikkjal Thomassen to start including Yohanna in first-team practice sessions regularly.

He debuted for AIK on August 17, 2025, coming on as a substitute in the 89th minute against IFK Göteborg at Gamla Ullevi, in a match that ended 2-1. Just three days later, Yohanna played his first match for AIK, featuring the whole game in the qualification round for the 2025-26 Svenska Cupen against Hudiksvalls FF, which AIK won comfortably with a score of 7-0.

Before the 2026 season, AIK let go of Mikkjal Thomassen and brought in José Rivero, a Spanish coach, as his replacement. After the managerial change and the switch to a new 4-3-3 formation, Yohanna became the team’s right winger, a role he quickly mastered during the preseason.

Yohanna netted his first two goals for AIK on March 9, 2026, during a 4-0 win against BK Häcken at Strawberry Arena, which helped secure a spot in the Swedish Cup quarterfinals.

During the quarter-final match against GAIS, Yohanna netted one of AIK’s goals by heading in a cross from Áron Csongvai in the second half. Despite this, AIK lost 3-2 and was knocked out of the cup.

Yohanna debuted in Allsvenskan on April 5, 2026, at Strawberry Arena, where he also netted his first league goal. He made a right-flank cut, maneuvering past two defenders in the penalty box before delivering a precise shot that clinched the game and led to a 2-1 victory over Halmstads BK.

After Yohanna’s remarkable performance at the start of the 2026 season, transfer rumors began to circulate. In April, there were reports linking the player to German clubs such as Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, and Bayer Leverkusen.

Yohanna kept up his impressive performance during the spring of 2026, netting AIK’s sole goal in a 1-1 match against IF Elfsborg at Borås Arena on May 3. He helped Kevin Filling on May 10 during a 4-2 loss to Djurgårdens IF.

Yohanna confirmed on June 6, 2026, that he will be joining English Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion when the transfer market opens on June 15, 2026.

Net Worth

It’s estimated that Zadok Yohanna has a net worth of around €100,000. As his football career advances, this amount will likely increase significantly.
